Huntingdon men’s tennis splits with Tougaloo and Millsaps

JACKSON, Miss. – The Huntingdon men's tennis team knocked off Tougaloo 9-0 and fell to Millsaps 6-3 on Saturday.

Against Tougaloo, Larry Pritchett (No. 2), Trey Pirtle (No. 3) and Tyler Chaffee (No. 4) each won their singles matches 6-0, 6-0. Tyler Creamer won at No. 1 singles and Eric Busch won at No. 5. The Hawks won by default at No. 6 singles.

Bobby Foroughian (No. 1) and Chaffee (No. 6) were the singles winners against Millsaps.

In doubles, the No. 3 team of Chaffee-Pirtle won 8-0 against Tougaloo and 8-1 against Millsaps.

Foroughian-Zac Baldwin won at No. 1 doubles against Tougaloo and Creamer-Pritchett won at No. 2 doubles.

Huntingdon (4-1) returns to action at home on Tuesday against Tuskegee at 1:30 p.m.
