Huntingdon men’s tennis picks up 10th win of the season

TUSKEGEE, Ala. – The Huntingdon men's tennis team left little doubt in its rematch with Tuskegee University.

The Hawks won all six singles matches and two doubles matches to knock off the Division II Golden Tigers 8-1. Huntingdon beat Tuskegee 5-4 in February.

Tyler Creamer, Larry Pritchett and Tyler Chaffee each won in singles and doubles. Creamer won at No. 3 singles, Pritchett won at No. 4 singles and Chaffee won at No. 6 singles. Creamer and Pritchett teamed for an 8-0 win at No. 2 doubles and Chaffee teamed with Trey Pirtle to win at No. 3 doubles.

Bobby Foroughian (No. 1), Zac Baldwin (No. 2) and Eric Busch (No. 5) picked up the Hawks' other singles victories.

Huntingdon (10-5) travels to Covenant on Saturday for two matches. The Hawks play Hiwassee at 9 a.m. and Covenant at 1 p.m.
