Huntingdon men’s tennis knocks off Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Huntingdon men's tennis team won its third straight conference match with a 9-0 win over Greensboro College on Saturday.

The match was the fourth straight 9-0 victory for the Hawks (6-2, 3-0 USA South).

Sebastian Riveros Florez (No. 2), Tyler Creamer (No. 4), Justin McQueen (No. 5) and Trey Pirtle (No. 6) won their singles matches in straight sets. Bobby Foroughian (No. 1) and Zac Baldwin (No. 3) won in three sets.

In doubles, the No. 1 team of Foroughian-Baldwin improved to 8-0 this season. The team of Florez-Meyer Schwartzberg won at No. 2 and the team of Creamer-Pirtle won at No. 3

Huntingdon plays at Averett University on Sunday at 8 a.m.
