Huntingdon men’s tennis remains unbeaten in USA South

DANVILLE, Va. – The Huntingdon men's tennis team remained unbeaten in USA South Athletic Conference play with an 8-1 win over Averett University on Sunday.

The victory was the fourth straight conference win and the fifth straight win overall for the Hawks (7-2, 4-0 USA South).

Huntingdon picked up singles wins from Bobby Foroughian (No. 1), Sebastian Riveros Florez (No. 2), Tyler Creamer (No. 4), Justin McQueen (No. 5) and Trey Pirtle (No. 6).

In doubles, the No. 1 team of Foroughian-Zac Baldwin pushed its winning streak to nine matches this spring. The team of Florez-Meyer Schwartzberg won at No. 2 and the team of Creamer-Pirtle won at No. 3.

Huntingdon plays at LaGrange College in a conference match on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
