Huntingdon men’s tennis earns 10th win of the season
MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – The Huntingdon men's tennis team won two doubles matches and three singles matches to edge Berry College 5-4 on Thursday.
The victory was the eighth straight for the Hawks (10-2).
Huntingdon picked up two points in doubles with wins by Sebastian Riveros Florez and Meyer Schwartzberg at No. 2 doubles and Tyler Creamer and Trey Pirtle at No. 3 doubles. The No. 1 doubles team of Bobby Foroughian-Zac Baldwin lost 8-3 for its first loss of the season.
Leading 2-1 after doubles, the Hawks used singles victories from Baldwin (No. 3), Schwartzberg (No. 4) and Justin McQueen (No. 6) to clinch the match.
Huntingdon returns to action on April 1 at Tuskegee.
