Huntingdon men’s tennis falls to conference leader N.C. Wesleyan
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon men's tennis team fell to North Carolina Wesleyan 9-0 on Saturday.
It was the first USA South Athletic Conference loss of the season for the Hawks (12-3, 7-1 USA South) and snapped Huntingdon's 10-match winning streak. N.C. Wesleyan (8-7, 8-0 USA South) is the five-time defending conference champion.
The Hawks are now tied for second in the conference with Methodist (17-6, 7-1 USA South). Weather permitting, Huntingdon is scheduled to host Methodist on Sunday in the final conference match for both teams.
The conference tournament is set to begin on April 11 in Rocky Mount, N.C.
