Huntingdon men’s tennis falls in USA South semifinals

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. – Sophomore Bobby Foroughian knocked off the conference Player of the Year on Friday, but the Huntingdon men's tennis team couldn't overcome Methodist University.

The Monarchs won three doubles matches and four singles matches to win 7-2. Methodist (19-6) will face five-time defending USA South Athletic Conference champion North Carolina Wesleyan (11-7) in the championship match on Sunday.

Foroughian's 6-3, 6-3 win over Methodist senior Duncan Miller at No. 1 singles was Miller's first loss against a conference opponent this season. Justin McQueen earned the Hawks' other win in three sets at No. 6 singles.
