Hawks push winning streak to eight matches
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon men's tennis team knocked off Covenant 8-1 on Friday.
The win was the eighth straight for the Hawks (8-3, 5-0 USA South).
Huntingdon won each of its three doubles matches 8-2. Bobby Foroughian and Zac Baldwin won at No. 1, Sebastian Riveros Florez and Meyer Schwartzberg won at No. 2 and Trey Pirtle and John Jones won at No. 3.
In singles, Foroughian (No. 1), Florez (No. 2), Jones (No. 4), Baldwin (No. 5) and Aaron Triplett (No. 6) each picked up wins. It was the eighth straight singles victory for both Foroughian and Florez and the seventh straight for Baldwin.
Huntingdon plays at Piedmont on Saturday at noon.
