Hawks close regular season with loss at Piedmont
DEMOREST, Ga. – The Huntingdon men's tennis team fell to Piedmont 6-3 on Sunday in the final match of the regular season.
The Hawks (9-5, 6-4 USA South) led early with two wins in doubles before Piedmont won five of the six singles matches.
Huntingdon picked up doubles wins from the teams of Justin McQueen-Aaron Triplett (No. 2) and Ben Marler-Bailey Burns (No. 3). McQueen also won a three-set match at No. 4 singles.
Huntingdon will face Piedmont again in the first round of the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament on Friday.
