Hawks fall in opening round of USA South Tournament

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. – The Huntingdon men's tennis team lost to Piedmont College 7-2 in the opening round of the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament on Friday.
Piedmont (11-7) opened the match with two doubles victories and jumped out to a 2-1 lead. Huntingdon's No. 2 doubles team of Aaron Triplett-Justin McQueen won 8-6.
McQueen won at No. 4 singles for Huntingdon (9-6) to cut Piedmont's lead to 3-2. But the Lions won the next four singles matches to take the win.
