Men’s tennis opens season with loss to Christian Brothers

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Huntingdon men's tennis team opened its season with a 7-2 loss to Christian Brothers on Friday.
Senior Justin McQueen won at No. 2 singles in a three set match. McQueen won 6-2, 5-7 and 6-1. In doubles play, McQueen and John Jones won in the number one spot, 8-3.
In singles, Ben Marler (No. 5) and Mark Melchor (No. 6) each lost in three sets.
Huntingdon (0-1) plays twice on Saturday. The Hawks play at 10 a.m. against Belhaven and at 2 p.m. at Rhodes.
