Men’s tennis loses to Belhaven and Rhodes

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Huntingdon men's tennis team lost to Belhaven and Rhodes on Saturday.

In their first match of the day, the Hawks (0-3) fell 7-2 to Belhaven and followed with a 9-0 loss to Rhodes.

Against Belhaven (1-2), Adam Self (No. 3) won 6-0, 6-1 in singles play. The freshman paired with Ryan Runager in the No. 2 doubles position and took an 8-3 victory.

Justin McQueen (No. 2) fell in three sets, 6-2, 2-6, 5-10, in singles.  

In the second match of the afternoon, Huntingdon struggled against the Lynx (5-0) and failed to record a win.

The Hawks host Tuskegee on March 3 at 2 p.m.
