Weather forecast forces changes to weekend athletic schedules

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The weather forecast for this weekend has forced several changes to the Huntingdon athletic schedule.

The changes involve baseball, softball and women's lacrosse.

Baseball was originally scheduled to play a three-game series over three days at LaGrange, beginning on Friday. With the revised schedule, Huntingdon will play a single game at LaGrange at 2 p.m. Central on Friday and a doubleheader on Saturday. Game 1 of the doubleheader is set for noon Central.

Softball was scheduled to travel to Memphis, Tenn., to play Rhodes College and Case Western Reserve on Saturday and Sunday. Those games have been canceled. Softball will now host Berry College in a doubleheader on Saturday. Game 1 is set for 1 p.m.

On Sunday, women's lacrosse has moved its game ahead three hours. Huntingdon will host Alma at 11 a.m. Men's lacrosse is still scheduled to travel to Arkansas to play Hendrix College on Saturday at 3 p.m.
