196 Hawks named to USA South Academic All-Conference Team

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Nearly 200 Huntingdon College student-athletes were recognized with the release of the USA South Academic All-Conference team on Monday. A total of 196 Hawks, representing each of Huntingdon's 16 athletic programs, were among the 1,684 USA South student-athletes named to the team.

Women's basketball player Juliette Harp and men's golfer Addison Lambeth were recognized as the Huntingdon Female Student-Athlete of the Year and Male Student-Athlete of the Year during Wednesday night's Awards Ceremony.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon College athletic department held its annual Awards Ceremony on Wednesday night to recognize the accomplishments of student-athletes that helped make this another successful year.

Huntingdon rallies past Meredith but ends season with loss to Maryville

LAGRANGE, Ga. – The Huntingdon softball team closed out the season with two games in the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament on Friday. The Lady Hawks rallied to beat Meredith 8-7 in the first game but were eliminated by Maryville 4-3 in the second game.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Freshman Maggie Porter drove in the winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning on Saturday to keep the Huntingdon softball team's season alive. Porter's sacrifice fly scored Raina Lanier and provided the difference in a 1-0 win over Covenant College in the first round of the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon softball team rallied to win Game 1 but came up short in Game 2 on Friday in the first round of the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament. Huntingdon won the first game 4-3 before Covenant won 5-1 in the second game.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon softball team dropped both games of a doubleheader to Judson College on Thursday. The Lady Hawks fell 5-4 in eight innings in the first game and lost 5-3 in Game 2.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Freshman Samara Miller drove in four runs on Sunday, including the game-winning run in Game 2 of a doubleheader with Greensboro College. Miller drove in Amber Wade in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Lady Hawks a 4-3 win. Greensboro won the first game 8-3.
