Hawks fall to Louisiana College and Birmingham-Southern

DUE TO CURRENT COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, ONLY HUNTINGDON STUDENTS ARE PERMITTED AT OUTDOOR ATHLETIC EVENTS

 

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.  – The Huntingdon softball team closed out the BSC Tournament with two losses on Sunday.

The Hawks lost to Louisiana College 8-0 in five innings and lost to Birmingham-Southern 12-4 in six innings.

Against Louisiana College, Lydia Lewis and Mollie Singleterry accounted for Huntingdon's two hits. Elise Maddox (0-3) took the loss in four innings.

In the Birmingham-Southern game, Singleterry was 3-for-4 with two runs. Macie Wilson had two RBIs and Brooke Stefankiewicz and Hailey League each scored one run. Lauren Melton (1-2) took the loss in one inning.
