TROY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women’s track and field team closed out its first season of competition this weekend in the Coach “O” Invitational at Troy University. The only Division III team in a field of Division I and Division II programs, the Lady Hawks didn’t place as highly as they have in Division III meets, but Huntingdon’s times and distances were comparable or better than the last meet in Sewanee.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's track and field team turned in five first-place performances in the Hilltop Twilight Classic this weekend at Birmingham-Southern. Birmingham-Southern won the meet with 212 points, Huntingdon was second with 116 and Sewanee was third with 101.

ATLANTA – Patricia Pickens placed third in the 100 meters and finished eighth in the 200 meters and Kim Allen was fourth in the discus to lead the Huntingdon women's track and field team in the Emory Classic this weekend. The two freshmen accounted for 12 of Huntingdon's 13 points in the meet. Pickens earned six points for the Lady Hawks in the 100 meters and a point in the 200 meters and Allen earned five points in the discus. Pickens also teamed with Miah Burton, Kyndall Caldwell and Sheaney Marshall in the 4x100 meter relay to earn Huntingdon's other point.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's track and field program accomplished another first on Monday. With the first-year Lady Hawks' performance in the Morehouse Relays on Saturday, two individuals and a Huntingdon relay team are now ranked in the top 12 on the Track & Field Results Reporting System's national Division III top performance list.

ATLANTA – Kim Allen turned in a top-three finish in the discus and the Hawks finished in the top-10 in four of seven events at the Morehouse Relays this weekend. This was the third outdoor meet, and seventh meet overall, for the first-year women's track and field program. Team results were not compiled.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's track and field team had ten top-20 finishes in the Southern Invitational at Birmingham-Southern College this weekend. This was the second outdoor meet and the sixth overall for the first-year Huntingdon program.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Huntingdon women's track and field team got to test itself against Division I, Division II and NAIA competition this weekend in the University of North Florida Invitational. This was the fifth meet overall and the first outdoor meet for the first-year Huntingdon program.

SEWANEE, Tenn. – The first-year Huntingdon women's track and field team wrapped up the indoor season this weekend at the Sewanee Indoor Invitational. Saturday's meet was the fourth for Huntingdon and head coach Nate Rucker said he is pleased with the progress the team has shown.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Huntingdon women’s track and field team got another taste of Division I and Division II competition in this weekend’s Vulcan Invitational. Hosted by UAB, Samford and Birmingham-Southern at the new Birmingham Crossplex, the meet featured Division I, Division II and Division III programs. Huntingdon was one of six Division III programs competing on Friday and Saturday. This was the third meet of the Indoor Season for Huntingdon’s first-year program.

SEWANEE, Tenn. – The Huntingdon women’s track and field team competed in its second meet of the Indoor Season on Saturday. The first-year program had two top-five finishes, five top-eight finishes and nine top-10 finishes in the Tiger Indoor Invitational at Sewanee.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Huntingdon College’s newest women’s athletic program opened a new era Sunday at the Tennessee State University Invitational. The competition was a starting point for the first-year Hawks. Head coach Nate Rucker and his staff were pleased with much of what they saw and encouraged by the athletes’ determination to keep working.
