MACON, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's basketball team put the game away early Saturday.

"It's always good to get the first conference win," Huntingdon head coach Buzz Phillips said. "We came out and played well early. We were able to get a lead and get all of our players in the game. Our starters did a good job today and our younger players all saw some good minutes.

"Now we're going to keep working, build off of this win and get ready for Spelman."
