FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Huntingdon women's basketball team fell behind in the first half and lost to Methodist 82-43 on Sunday.
The Lady Hawks (5-3, 0-2 USA South) led 8-6 in the early minutes of the game before Methodist (6-1, 2-0) went on a 31-11 run to close the first half and take a 37-19 lead. Huntingdon pulled within 14 points midway through the second half before the Monarchs extended their lead.
Raven Prater led Huntingdon with 13 points and Tan Munford had 13 rebounds.
Huntingdon returns to Roland Arena on Tuesday to host Pensacola Christian at 5:30 p.m.
