Lady Hawks knock off Judson

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Four players scored in double figures to lead the Huntingdon women's basketball team past Judson 76-53 on Wednesday night.

Huntingdon (7-5) was able to play 15 players in the game, with all but five seeing at least 11 minutes of playing time.

Judson (2-10) hung with the Lady Hawks for almost a half. Tied 29-29 with 2:45 left in the first half, Huntingdon closed the first half with a 10-1 run and opened the second half with a 13-2 run to put the game away.

Pat Pickens recorded her sixth double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds. She also had four assists. Tan Munford added 13 points and eight rebounds and Jai'Lyn Lover had 13 points and four assists. Lover was 3-for-5 from 3-point range.

Jenna Dorman finished with 10 points, seven rebounds and three steals and Deven Still pulled down seven rebounds.

Huntingdon returns to action on Saturday at home against Ferrum. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m.
