BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's basketball team fell to in-state rival Birmingham-Southern 82-55 on Saturday night.
Birmingham-Southern went on an 18-0 run to close out the first half and led by as many as 42 points midway through the third quarter.
Juliette Harp led a trio of Lady Hawks (3-1) in double figures. Harp recorded her third double-double of the season with 11 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks. Jello Weatherspoon scored 11 points and Jenna Dorman had 10 points and four rebounds.
Huntingdon travels to Wesleyan on Dec 1. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
