FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – More than 130 Huntingdon College student-athletes were recognized with the release of the USA South Academic All-Conference team on Monday. A total of 139 Hawks, representing each of Huntingdon's 18 athletic programs, were among the 1,446 USA South student-athletes named to the team.

Women's basketball player Juliette Harp and men's lacrosse player Sam Hitt were honored as the Huntingdon Female Student-Athlete of the Year and Male Student-Athlete of the Year during Wednesday night's Awards Ceremony.

This week is NCAA Division III Week and member institutions across the country are celebrating the seventh-year event. Division III Week, which runs from Monday through Sunday, is intended to recognize the academic and athletic accomplishments as well as the campus leadership and community service efforts of Division III student-athletes. As part of Huntingdon College's participation in Division III Week, five student-athletes will be featured this week. Huntingdon senior Juliette Harp is today's featured student-athlete.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Senior Juliette Harp added another accolade this week for the final season of her Huntingdon career. Harp was named second-team All-South Region with the release of the D3hoops.com All-Region teams on Tuesday.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Huntingdon senior Juliette Harp was named first-team All-Conference by the USA South Athletic Conference with the release of the women’s basketball awards on Thursday. This is the third straight season Harp has received All-Conference recognition and the second straight season she has been named first-team All-Conference and first-team All-West Division.
