MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's basketball team defeated LaGrange 68-58 on Wednesday night to pick up its second conference win of the season.
The victory was the Lady Hawks' 10th straight at Roland Arena, dating to last season.
Huntingdon, which led almost from the start, put the game away in the third quarter. Leading 36-33 at halftime, Huntingdon outscored the Panthers 19-8 to in the third quarter.
The Lady Hawks carried a 55-41 lead into the fourth quarter and led by at least seven points for the remainder of the game.
Payton Kiser led all scorers with 20 points and was 5-for-10 from 3-point range. Mia Hudson added 14 points, eight rebounds and two steals.
Juliette Harp recorded her eighth double-double in nine games with 11 points and 17 rebounds and also had six blocks and three steals. T.I. Duncan finished with 10 points, four assists, two blocks and two steals.
