BREVARD, N.C. – The Huntingdon women's basketball team fell behind in the second half and lost to Brevard College 58-46 on Sunday.
Neither team led by more than five points in the first 29 minutes of the game. But Brevard closed the third quarter with an 8-0 run to take a 43-33 lead.
Huntingdon cut Brevard's lead to four points, 43-39, in the first two minutes of the fourth quarter before the Tornados pulled ahead for good. Brevard took a 52-40 lead with 2:34 to play and led by at least 10 points for the remainder of the game.
Huntingdon senior Juliette Harp recorded her seventh straight double-double and her Division III-leading 14th double-double of the season with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Mia Hudson added eight points and seven rebounds.
