Huntingdon takes control early at Agnes Scott

DECATUR, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's basketball team took a double-digit lead early and cruised to a 58-45 win over Agnes Scott on Sunday.

The Lady Hawks opened the game with a 13-2 run, led 28-17 at halftime and took a 23-point lead in the third quarter. Huntingdon led by double-digits for the final 18 minutes of the game.

Senior Juliette Harp set the tone early, scoring eight of Huntingdon's first 10 points. Harp, who leads Division III with 18 double-doubles in 19 games this season, finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Freshman Indya Lawrence scored a season-high 14 points and had four steals. T.I. Duncan also had four steals to go with seven rebounds and five assists. Mia Hudson finished with nine points, Payton Kiser had seven points and Keturah Billen had four blocked shots.

Quick Facts: The Huntingdon bench accounted for 34 of the Lady Hawks' 58 points against Agnes Scott … Sunday's win was Huntingdon's fourth straight over Agnes Scott and the sixth in the last seven meetings.
