Huntingdon starts strong and rolls past Agnes Scott

DECATUR, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's basketball team built a double-digit lead early and beat Agnes Scott 70-46 on Sunday.

The Lady Hawks took a 13-1 lead in the first six minutes of the game before Agnes Scott pulled within seven points early in the second quarter. From there, the Lady Hawks began to pull away for good.

Leading 21-14 with 7:09 left in the first half, Huntingdon outscored the Scotties 21-10 to close the first half and led by double digits for the final 23 minutes of the game.

Alex Lowery led Huntingdon with 18 points and finished 5-for-7 from 3-point range. T.I. Duncan added 11 points, four rebounds, four assists and four steals, Ry Whetstone finished with nine points and four rebounds and Mia Hudson had a team-high six rebounds.
