Memphis, Tennessee – The Hawks dropped their game on the road to the Lynx 66-50.
The Hawks began the game solid with an early 6-0 run in the first 3 minutes of the game. Rhodes began to fight back and tied the game at 10 with 1:52 remaining in the first quarter and take their first lead of the game with a made free-throw with a minute remaining. (11-10) To start the second quarter the Hawks went down by 5 with a score of 15-10 but Huntingdon continued to push the ball and make it to the foul line and again took the lead at 17-15 with 6:53 remaining in the half. Rhodes answered with an 8-0 run as the Hawks went scoreless for 4:30. The score going into halftime was 26-19, Rhodes.
In the second half, Rhodes continued to own the paint while shooting 50% from the field in the 3rd and 44% in the 4th compared to Huntingdon's 35% and 28%, respectively. The Hawks would bring the game within seven at 35-47 with 16 seconds remaining in the third quarter, however Rhodes scored 52 points in the paint excelled them past the Hawks.
