Huntingdon women’s golf in ninth after first round of Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invitational

ROME, Ga. – Sophomore Saem Hur shot a 10-over-par 82 to lead the Huntingdon women's golf team in the first round of the Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invitational on Monday. Entering the final round on Tuesday, Hur is eight strokes off the lead and tied for 11th at Stonebridge Golf Course.

Shorter University leads the team standings at 315. Huntingdon is in ninth at 353.

Shorter's Lisa Persson turned in the low round on Monday with a 2-over 74.

Huntingdon junior Ali Hamil is 12 strokes out of first and tied for 25th with an 86. Senior Kaitlin Rozof is tied for 34th with an 88, junior Alex Foster is tied for 57th with a 97 and sophomore Joanne Jeon is 75th with a 141.
