Huntingdon women’s golf places ninth in Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invitational
ROME, Ga. – Huntingdon sophomore Saem Hur shot a two-round total of 165 to lead the women's golf team in the Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invitational at Stonebridge Golf Course.
Hur finished tied for 13th and the Hawks finished ninth in the two-day tournament. Shorter University won with a 629. Birmingham-Southern was second at 654. Huntingdon shot 713.
Shorter's Lisa Persson followed up her first round 74 with an even-par 72 on Tuesday to win the tournament with a 2-over 146.
Huntingdon junior Ali Hamil shot 171 to tie for 26th, senior Kaitlin Rozof shot 184 and tied for 46th, junior Alex Foster shot 193 to finish 57th and sophomore Joanne Jeon was 75th with a 278.
