Huntingdon women finish 19th in Jekyll Island Invitational

JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's golf team finished 19th in the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational. The Lady Hawks improved their score in each round, shooting 348 on Sunday and finishing with a three-round total of 1,066.

Saem Hur shot an 81 at Jekyll Island Country Club to lead Huntingdon on Sunday and finished with a 54-hole total of 243 to tie for 25th. Behind Hur, Ali Hamil shot 260, Alex Foster shot 268 and Kaitlin Rozof shot 295 for the Lady Hawks.

Methodist's Jennifer Sullivan won the tournament with an 8-over-par 224. Methodist shot 942 to win. Coastal Georgia was second at 957.

Huntingdon returns to action in the Piedmont Invitational on April 2.
