Huntingdon women’s golf trails Piedmont after first round of GSAC tournament

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's golf team shot 365 on Monday in the first round of the Great South Athletic Conference women's golf tournament.

Entering Tuesday's final round at Wynlakes Golf & Country Club, Piedmont is in first at 331. The women's tournament is a two-team field plus two Maryville golfers.

Saem Hur shot an 83 and is in fourth to lead Huntingdon in the first round. Ali Hamil shot 89 and is tied for sixth, Kaitlin Rozof shot 96 and is tied for 9th and Alex Foster shot 97 and is in 11th.

Piedmont's Katarina Hodge leads the field at 79. The Lions' Cayla Banks is second at 81 and teammate Maria Carter is third at 82.
