Huntingdon’s Hur 5 strokes off the lead after 1st day of Rome News-Tribune Inv.

ROME, Ga. – Junior Saem Hur is five strokes out of first and the Huntingdon women's golf team is in ninth entering Tuesday's final round of the Rome News-Tribune Invitational.

Hur shot a 6-over-par 78 on Monday at the Coosa Country Club and is tied for 11th. Lee University's Courtney Shelton shot the low round on Monday with a 1-over 73.

Lee University is in first at 305. Shorter and University of Cumberlands are tied for second at 310. Huntingdon is ninth at 354.

Senior Ali Hamil shot 84 for Huntingdon, freshman Sydney Robbins shot 87, freshman Jessie Culey shot 105 and freshman Shay Roberson shot 112.
