Huntingdon’s Cahoon tied for 8th in MCC Women’s Intercollegiate

Results

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon freshman LeeAnn Cahoon is nine strokes off the lead and tied for eighth after the first round of the Montgomery Country Club Women's Intercollegiate.

As a team, the Lady Hawks shot 358 and are in fourth entering Monday's final round at the Montgomery Country Club.

Piedmont is in first at 329, Berry is second at 347 and Oglethorpe is one stroke ahead of Huntingdon at 357 in the five-team field. Millsaps is fifth at 441.

Piedmont's Katarina Hodge shot 77 on Sunday to lead the field and Cahoon shot 86 to lead Huntingdon. Senior Saem Hur and freshman Savannah Humber both shot 90 for the Lady Hawks. Freshman Courtney Harville followed with a 92 and sophomore Sydney Robbins shot 97. Playing as individuals, sophomore Jessie Culey shot 97 and sophomore Shay Roberson shot 103.
