Lady Hawks close BSC Shootout with best round in program history

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's golf team shot the best round in program history on Monday in the final round of the BSC Southern Shootout. Monday's round of 323 and Sunday's round of 331 are the best back-to-back rounds in the history of the sixth-year program.

Senior Saem Hur turned in a 4-over-par 75 on Monday and finished the tournament 10 strokes off the lead with a 157. Freshman LeeAnn Cahoon finished one stroke behind Hur at 158.

Sewanee's Emily Javadi and Birmingham-Southern's Sarah Dolmovich both shot 5-over 147 for the tournament, forcing a playoff. Javadi won in the playoff.

Rhodes College and University of the Cumberlands tied for the team lead at 603 after 36 holes. Rhodes won the tournament in a playoff.

Lee University shot 611 to finish third in the 12-team field. Huntingdon finished in eighth at 654.

Behind Hur and Cahoon, sophomore Sydney Robbins shot 169 for Huntingdon, freshman Savannah Humber turned in a score of 170 and freshman Courtney Harville followed at 185.

Sophomores Jessie Culey and Shay Roberson competed as individuals in the tournament. Culey finished with a two-round total of 178 and Roberson shot 184.
