Lady Hawks in 15th after Rd. 1 of Golfweek DIII Fall Invitational

DESTIN, Fla. – The Huntingdon women's golf team shot 335 in the first round of the Golfweek Division III Fall Invitational on Sunday.

The Lady Hawks are in 15th entering Monday's second round at the Baytowne Golf Club. Methodist leads the 17-team field at 296. Trinity University is second at 309 and Washington University-St. Louis is third at 314.

Methodist's Loretta Giovannettone and Nucharin Kantapasara and Illinois Wesleyan's Katie Klosterman are tied for first at even-par 72. Huntingdon senior Saem Hur is 10 strokes off the lead at 82.

Huntingdon freshman Savannah Humber is one stroke behind Hur at 83, freshman LeeAnn Cahoon is at 84, followed by sophomore Sydney Robbins at 86 and sophomore Jessie Culey at 99.
