Lady Hawks in 6th entering second round of Chick-fil-A Collegiate Inv.

ROME, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's golf team had a solid start Monday in the first round of the Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invitational.

The Lady Hawks shot 336 in the first round at Stonebridge Golf Club and are in sixth entering Tuesday's final round. University of the Cumberlands leads the 15-team field at 310, DePauw University is second at 321 and Trevecca Nazarene University is third at 322.

University of the Cumberlands Liz Stephens and Bri Tokariwski tied for the best round on Monday at 2-over-par 74. Huntingdon freshman LeeAnn Cahoon is four strokes off the lead and tied for ninth at 6-over 78.

Senior Saem Hur and freshman Savannah Humber both shot 85 for Huntingdon, freshman Courtney Harville turned in an 88 and sophomore Sydney Robbins finished with a 94 in the first round.
