Lady Hawks finish 5th in Callaway Collegiate

PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. – The final round of the Callaway Collegiate was rained out on Sunday, leaving the Huntingdon women's golf team in fifth after shooting a 335 on Saturday.

Methodist was the tournament champion at 301 and Oglethorpe's Elizabeth Kim was the tournament medalist with a 1-under-par 70.

Freshman Savannah Humber led Huntingdon in the opening round with an 80 and tied for 13th. Freshman LeeAnn Cahoon shot 84, senior Saem Hur shot 85, sophomore Sydney Robbins shot 86 and freshman Courtney Harville finished with a 95.

"The girls were in high spirits and were ready to play, despite the bad weather," Huntingdon assistant coach Ashley Aguilera said. "I am impressed with how much fight and determination we continue to show and we are looking forward to our next event."

Huntingdon travels to the Methodist Invitational on April 12.
