HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – Huntingdon sophomore LeeAnn Cahoon closed out the final round of the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships with a 5-over-par 77 on Friday.

The second-team All-American finished tied for 40th out of 110 golfers with a four-round total of 335 at El Campeon Golf Course at the Mission Inn Resort & Club.

Cahoon said having the opportunity to be the first Huntingdon women's golfer to compete at the national tournament was an incredible experience.

"This has meant so much to me and I am honored to represent Huntingdon," Cahoon said. "To compete at this level and have the opportunity to compete with the best girls in the nation is awesome and very rewarding. I am blessed to have experienced this with two amazing coaches and I give all of the glory to God."
