Lady Hawks in 5th entering Rd. 2 of Golfweek D3 Fall Invitational

DESTIN, Fla. – The Huntingdon women's golf team shot 320 on Sunday in the opening round of the Golfweek D3 Fall Invitational.

Entering Monday's second round at Baytowne Golf Club, the Lady Hawks are 11 strokes out of first and in fifth in the 18-team field. Sewanee leads the field at 309 and Washington University-St. Louis is second at 312.

Junior LeeAnn Cahoon led Huntingdon with a 79 in the first round and is tied for 12th. Freshman Hallie Rice and sophomore Kelsey Spivey each shot 80 and are tied for 16th. Junior Savannah Humber shot 81 and freshman Katelyn Gilmore shot 84.

Sewanee's Emily Javadi turned in the low round on Sunday with a 3-under-par 69.
