Huntingdon women finish 6th in Golfweek D3 Invitational

DESTIN, Fla. – The Huntingdon women's golf team shot 316 in the final round of the Golfweek D3 Invitational on Tuesday.

The Lady Hawks finished sixth in the 18-team field with a three-round score of 944. Wittenberg University won the tournament with a 927 and Methodist University was second with a 937.

Huntingdon senior LeeAnn Cahoon finished ninth with a three-round total of 231. Wittenberg's Jane Hopkinson-Wood was the tournament medalist with a 1-under-par 215.

Sophomore Katelyn Gilmore led the Lady Hawks in the final round with a 3-over 75. Gilmore finished the tournament tied for 16th with a 234.

Junior Kelsey Spivey shot 78 in the final round and tied for 21st with a 238. Sophomore Hallie Rice finished with a 247 and senior Courtney Harville finished with a 255.
