Lady Hawks in 10th after Rd. 1 of Jekyll Island Women’s Collegiate

JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's golf team shot 325 in the opening round of the Jekyll Island Women's Collegiate on Friday.

The 16th-ranked Lady Hawks are 10th in the 23-team field entering Saturday's second round.

Twelfth-ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps leads the field at 314 and 21st-ranked Washington University-St. Louis is second at 316. No. 13 New York University is third at 318 and fourth-ranked Rhodes is fourth at 319.

Huntingdon Freshman Hannah Tuttle is tied for 18th after shooting 7-over-par 79. Oglethorpe's Hayley Willman leads the field with a 1-over 73.

Senior LeeAnn Cahoon and sophomore Katelyn Gilmore each shot 81, junior Kelsey Spivey shot 84 and senior Courtney Harville shot 92.
