Women’s golf tied for 11th after Rd. 2 of Jekyll Island Women’s Collegiate

JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's golf team shot 328 in the second round of the Jekyll Island Women's Collegiate on Saturday.

The 16th-ranked Lady Hawks are tied for 11th out of 23 teams with a two-round total of 653 entering Sunday's final round.

No. 13 New York University climbed to the top of the leader board and holds a nine stroke lead after shooting a 10-over-par 298 on Saturday. The Violets have a two-round total of 616. Rhodes College (No. 4) is second with a two-round total of 625.

New York's Patty Treevichaphan leads the tournament with a 5-over 149.

Sophomore Katelyn Gilmore shot a 7-over 79 and is tied for 26th with a two-round total of 160.

Freshman Hannah Tuttle is tied for 32 at 161. Kelsey Spivey is four strokes back with a 165 while LeeAnn Cahoon is at 167. Courtney Harville has a two-round total of 181.
