Huntingdon women finish 13th in Jekyll Island Women’s Collegiate

JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's golf team shot 331 in Sunday's final round to finish 13th in the Jekyll Island Women's Collegiate.

The Lady Hawks shot a three-round total of 984. New York University took top honors with a three-round total of 934.

Washington University in St. Louis' Samantha Haubenstock, Berry's Sydney Weaver and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps' Kelly Ransom tied for first with a three-round total of 230.

Huntingdon's Kelsey Spivey led the way for Huntingdon and tied for 37th with a three-round total of 244. The junior shot 79 in the final round.

Sophomore Katelyn Gilmore tied for 40th with a 246 while senior LeeAnn Cahoon finished 49th with a 250.

Freshman Hannah Tuttle shot 251 and senior Courtney Harville shot 264.

Huntingdon travels to Memphis on Sunday to compete in the Joe Duncan Rhodes Invitational.
