What made you feel like Huntingdon was the right place for you? "I wasn't sure I wanted to stay close to where I am from, but as soon as I came on my visit and spoke with coach Ashley Crane and coach Dave Schreyer about playing golf, I knew this is where I wanted to be. It felt like home to me and I loved the campus and the architecture of the buildings and it just felt like family here."

What has made your Huntingdon experience unique? "Being able to get to know all the professors here on a personal level. With traveling for golf so much, it's been nice to be able to interact with them and have one-on-one time with them."

How has Huntingdon challenged you academically and athletically? "I believe I have become a better student over the past four years. I have learned to study better and I learned to study while on golf trips. Out of the classroom, my coaches have made me into a better athlete and I am really thankful for them."

What has been your biggest highlight as a Huntingdon student-athlete? "It would have to be becoming the first woman in program history to make it to the NCAA Division III Championship Golf tournament. I couldn't have done it without coach Dave or coach Ashley, my teammates and God. They have all helped me so much."

As a student-athlete, what is your impression of Division III now compared to your first season? "Everyone likes to look at Division I and think they are so much better but the gap is a lot closer. Honestly, I think Division III student-athletes are just as dedicated and love our sport, if not more, than Division I because there are no scholarships."
