Huntingdon in 6th after Day 1 of IWU Spring Fling

NORMAL, Ill. – The Huntingdon women's golf team is 20-over-par with four holes to play in the opeing round of the 2017 Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling.

Friday's opening round was suspended due to rain and each team has four holes remaining. Play will resume at 8 a.m. and Rd. 2 will follow.

After 14 holes, the Lady Hawks are 12 strokes off the lead and in sixth. Washington University – St. Louis leads the 22 team tournament with an 8-over. Indiana Tech is one stroke off the lead in second.

Two Lady Hawks are in the top-10. Sophomore Katelyn Gilmore is tied for fourth and senior Courtney Harville is tied for 8th.
