Lady Hawks finish 9th in IWU Spring Fling

NORMAL, Ill. – The Huntingdon women's golf team shot 334 in the final round of the Illinois Wesleyan University Spring Fling on Saturday.

The Lady Hawks finished ninth in the 22-team tournament with a two-round total of 648. Tournament champion Indiana Tech shot 609. Washington University-St. Louis was second with a 623.

Indiana Tech's Wiebke Schlender was the tournament medalist with a 2-under-par 142. Huntingdon sophomore Katelyn Gilmore finished 11 strokes out of first and in sixth with a 36-hole total of 153.

Senior Courtney Harville tied for 17th with a two-round 158, senior LeeAnn Cahoon tied for 26th with a two-round 161 and freshman Madi DeWees shot 176.
