Harville selected as WGCA All-American Scholar

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Huntingdon's Courtney Harville was announced as an All-American Scholar by the Women's Golf Coaches Association's on Wednesday.

This is the fourth straight year Harville has earned the honor.

To be eligible for the All-American Scholar team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA. The WGCA recognized 952 women's collegiate golfers this year.

Harville was one of 15 women's golfers from six schools in Alabama to be named an All-American Scholar.

Joining Harville are Alabama State University's Chanelle Avaricio and Dismary Marquez, Auburn University's Chavisa Mai Dechatip and Kelli Murphy, Jacksonville State University's Emily Dyar, Angie Varona and Karina Kukkonen, the University of Alabama's Kristen Gillman, Cheyenne Knight, Lauren Stephenson and Lakareber Abe, UAB's Rebecca Chandler and Sydney Snodgrass and the University of West Alabama's Jessica Smyth.
