Huntingdon can’t keep pace with unbeaten Sewanee

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's lacrosse team lost to Sewanee 21-6 on Thursday.

The unbeaten Tigers (8-0) led 6-3 with 16 minutes left in the first half but pulled away late in the first half and early in the second half.

Jen Price and Lonnitria Keenan each scored two goals for Huntingdon. Keenan had an assist and Price had seven ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Jamie Reschke had one goal and four ground balls and Shannen O'Leary had one goal and six draw controls. Candace Williams had seven ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Goalie Victoria Krupa had 10 saves and 21 goals allowed.

Huntingdon (0-9) hosts LaGrange on Saturday at 4 p.m.
