GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Huntingdon women's lacrosse team lost to Greensboro 16-7 in Sunday's USA South Athletic Conference matchup.

After jumping out to a 2-0 lead with goals from Jen Price and Ariana Kelty, Huntingdon allowed ten straight Greensboro goals to fall behind 10-2 with 9:37 left in the first half.

Briana Gress scored off an assist by Price with 9:05 remaining to stop the Pride attack before Price scored her second goal to pull the Lady Hawks (3-4, 1-1 USA South) within six.

The Pride (3-0, 2-0 USA South) scored two goals in the final 19 seconds to pull ahead by eight heading into halftime.

Jade Paul scored the second's half first goal, but Greensboro netted three unanswered goals to take a 15-5 lead. Gress and Price each scored in the final eight minutes but the deficit was too much for the Lady Hawks to overcome.
