Lady Hawks lose at Methodist

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Huntingdon women's lacrosse team lost 17-1 to Methodist University in Saturday's USA South Athletic Conference matchup.

The Monarchs (6-6, 3-1 USA South) scored the first 10 goals before Carolyn Smith put Huntingdon (2-10, 1-3 USA South) on the board early in the second half.  

The Monarchs would score seven goals in the final 19:23 to close out the win.

Jade Paul had one assist and two draw controls while Victoria Krupa had three ground balls and two draw controls.

Mikalah Bowman had four ground balls.

The Lady Hawks will play at Meredith on Sunday at 1 p.m.
