Huntingdon competes in Gator Boots Duals

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Huntingdon wrestling team faced three Division III teams in the Gator Boots Duals on Saturday.

The Hawks lost to 17th ranked Luther College 53-0, Buena Vista University 35-12 and Simpson College 44-0.

Sophomore Deon Maxwell and freshman Dieondiere' Jefferies each picked up wins against Buena Vista. Maxwell won by pin in the 157-pound weight class and Jefferies won by forfeit at 197 pounds.

Huntingdon returns to action at Brewton-Parker on Jan. 4.
